Tearstock 2017 is Over!

Thank you to everyone who made the trek to the Outer Banks for Tearstock & Eggshells! We made so many new friends and memories that we will cherish forever.

Schedule

Friday 6th – Mass gathering on a sandbar — Welcome!

1:30-5:00pm – Check In
Orientate yourself at the meeting center. Receive an OBX welcome bag; we’ve got you covered with a copy of publications like The Outer Banks Travel Guide and much more. Check out the rally activities, maps and interpretive tables. Find a door prize you’d like to win later. See what the rally Net can catch.

5:00pm – Best of Home—Wine & Craft Beer Tasting
What do your local vineyards and breweries have to offer? Sample the answer! Bring a couple bottles of wine/beer from your home area to share with others and taste what they have to offer too. Bring your favorite beverage glass. It’s Happy Hour for your long journey to the giant nest of tiny trailers in OBX.

5:30pm – Break Out Of Your Shell to “Meet & Greet”
While you wet your whistle, Jeannine Patané, Rally Coordinator, will give you the exciting weekend line-up of events. Godfrey Mendes and Joe Kicos, Co-Founders of Liberty Outdoors and the rally’s host sponsor, warmly welcome you to an adventurous experience in OBX.

6:00pm – Life’s a Beach Dinner
Don’t worry about dinner; it’s catered! Liberty Outdoors is generously sponsoring a stress-free start to the weekend by providing a BBQ, including a menu of fried chicken, fried/steamed shrimp, 3 veggies, rolls, & hushpuppies at the meeting center.

7:00-10:00pm – Barryoke Karaoke Entertainment
Stick around after dinner and let local musician and DJ, Barryoke, give us an unforgettable experience in true Outer Banks fashion!

Saturday 7th

6:30-8:30am – The Early Bird Gets The Coffee
Bring your java mug and socialize. Learn about OBX. Leave something in the rally Net. Plan a day’s adventure.

8:30am – Take off on your OBX flight plan.
Go adventure and explore.

10:00am-5:00pm – Public Showcase of Liberty Outdoors Premier Trailers
Get a first-hand look at the newest travel trailers on the market. The Liberty Outdoors Team will be on site to show you all the great features on their latest brand line. Participate in the contests, giveaways, live broadcasts and more.

11:00am-1:00pm – Beach 104 Live Remote Broadcast
A live radio broadcast from the Camp Hatteras meeting center brings the local enthusiasm to us! Join in with Jody O'Donnell, co-host of the Moose & Jody Morning Show on Beach 104, as he covers the activity with Liberty Outdoors and plays today’s best music.

6:30pm – Trivia Treasure Hunt: the answers
You can bring your completed OBX Treasure Map to the meeting center as early as 6:00pm, and earn extra tickets for the door prizes. We’ll give you the answers; you keep the map and the knowledge.

7:00pm – Drawing For Door Prizes – DJ and Campfire Follows
Bring your tickets! (behind name badges) Find out if you’ll win an eclectic door prize of your choice. Afterwards, join DJ Dave Glenn Alley as he spins groovy sounds for the sound side, and socialize by a campfire. Campfire location will be announced following prize drawings.

Sunday 8th

6:30-8:30am – The Early Bird Gets The Coffee
Bring your java mug and socialize. Learn about OBX. Leave something in the rally Net. Plan a day’s adventure.

8:00am – VINYASA Slow Flow Yoga on the Beach
Diana Kuen of girlreinvented.com leads a yoga class balanced between effort and relaxation. All levels welcome to move through fun, creative, safe and accessible poses to wake up the body and mind.

8:30am – Take off on your OBX flight plan.
Go adventure and explore.

5:00pm – Captains Table Seafood Sampling
What have you discovered to be your favorite OBX ocean snack? Share your answer! Bring some newly tasted local seafood appetizers to share with others and taste what they have to offer too. Tickle your appetite and savor the sea’s variety with tapas at the Captains Table. Friday night’s leftover beer and wine also welcome.

6:00pm – Keynote Presentation: Road Testing the Max Trailer in America's National Parks
Janine Pettit of Girl Camper shares some tips for visiting National Parks. Planning, packing and traveling to the parks in the Little Guy Max trailer as well as making the most of the visit once you're there.

7:00pm – Trailer Awards – Campfire & DJ Follows
With your submitted ballot, Teardropshop.com will be presenting campers choice awards to four lucky rally participants. Find out which trailers most of us think the best efforts should be awarded to. Afterwards, join DJ Dave Glenn Alley as he spins groovy sounds for the sound side, and socialize by a campfire. Campfire location will be announced following awards.

Monday 9th

6:30-8:00am – The Early Bird Gets The Coffee AND Breakfast
Bring your java mug & socialize. Leave something in the rally Net. Discuss your onward travels.

8:00am – Columbus Day Voyage Breakfast
Start your next journey with a bountiful explorer’s breakfast, generously catered/donated by Liberty Outdoors. The menu is a full Southern style buffet breakfast and a made-to-order pancake bar with your choice of specialty toppings. Wish fair winds and following seas to your fellow travelers.

11:00am – Leaving The Nest
Go soar to great heights! Hitch up safely. Peace Out.
